Welcome a pair of Chinchillas to their new home...

Sad news is that Snowie has passed away suddenly due to heat stroke. Before her departure on Sunday 12th June, I had just bought her a new condo cage with lots of toys. She was excited over her new house and has been looking over it for long hours the night before she was gone. Sunday.. somehow she got panic over her new spacious cage that she kept jumping up and down trying to get out of the new cage and with the exceptionally warm Sunday, she finally got tired and decided to rest quietly. That was the most peaceful sleep I have seen that I was so amazed by that very cute sleeping look and wanted to take a photo to post it here... it was a long sleep and she never wakes up even at dinner time.. that I thought sometime was not right.... she was 8 months when we sent her off. 
To clear up the emptiness surrounding Snowie's cage & toys, sad and loss feeling, not on an impulse, I decided to look forward and that Monday we bought a pair of 3 months old Chinchillas to bring back the joy that surround us.... It's been a week of quarantine for the couple.. and I have yet to come up with their names....hmmm.... somehow can't seem to forget the nice name that took me a long while to come up with - SNOWIE...  Well... Welcome guys..... be good

A visit to Singapore Bird Park....

Well spent a full meaningful day exploiting the birdpark today with my camera... and it rained! Both me and the birds were having fun in the shower. Came home with a bad headache and slight fever...but it was fun walking in the rain!
